I don't think I can make it out to Lansing - I'm looking for some crawlers to meet up in the Detroit area.

Anyone looking to meet up in the Detroit area? I've participated in several sketchcrawls but never met up with anyone. I'd love to!

Re: Windsor, Ontario, Canada RESULTS!!
Are you planning an event for the 16th, by any chance? I may be able to get away for the morning or afternoon and would love to meet up with someone (I'm across the river in Ferndale, Michigan).

I went out solo Saturday morning. I took the bus into Royal Oak and drew at the Farm Market for a couple hours. It was a blast — anyone in the Detroit Area interested next time post a comment! Re: Detroit, MI
Jeff, I saw your reply on the Mid Michigan post. Maybe next time - I'd be interested in drawing in Detroit.
Are you going to sketchcrawl in Europe? It would be great to see your results!

I'm in Metro Detroit (Ferndale) — anyone interested in meeting up? I'm hoping to do either the morning or the afternoon out. The Detroit Zoo is a great place to sketch, but it can be a little pricey if you don't have a membership. Otherwise I'd probably choose a nice downtown area in a NW suburb - R...

Great sketches all around! Two distinct styles, both very nice.
Olga, I also love the two sketches in your flickr stream that look like they're part of this series.

I wound up on my own Saturday, which is just as well. I'm out of practice and spent more time wandering than drawing. I finally settled at the Detroit Zoo and got some nice drawings out. These are from the butterfly garden, free-flight aviary, and reptile house. http://www.sethkimball.com/wp-content...

Anyone in the Detroit area heading out Saturday? I invited three friends and none could make it. I live in Ferndale, so I was hoping to land for several hours in a NW suburb w/ a nice downtown and lots of foot traffic - say Royal Oak or Birmingham. Ferndale is pretty good too, and I'm open to sugges...
