Re: San Francisco [RESULTS]

We had the best day for the 46th Sketchcrawl.
The views from the top of Bernal Hill were fabulous.
Combining the views, sketching and 70+ degree weather created a day to remember!

Re: San Francisco [Results]

My husband, Don, and I jumped on BART and headed to the Concourse. After walking around, I saw Susie's Cafe and stopped to sketch it. Then we decided to walk over to Mission Bay Park. What a wonderful place! Water, kayaks, houseboats and a free jazz concert in progress! Who could ask for anything mo...

Re: San Francisco, CA

When was the last time we sketched at Fisherman's Wharf?
There is so much there and places to sit.
Lots of color and activity.

We had a wonderful day in the Fillmore. Had a great lunch at the Woodhouse, then hit Wilmot street.
Can't wait for 31!

Re: San Francisco, CA [RESULTS]

Hi all, My husband and I went directly to the Civic Center, since we knew we wouldn't make it to the park when everyone else started. It was a bit cold and gloomy, but I met numerous folks while sketching and my husband made a video. We had a good time. After I was done sketching we went to Johnny F...

Thanks for the great ideas. By the time I can get down there, I'm going to head to Civic Center near City Hall. Lots of buildings and people watching!

Re: San Francisco, CA, USA [RESULTS]

Wow! It was such a cold, foggy day at Crissy. My husband and I arrived around noon and walked through the park over to the warming hut. He scoped out the area, made a video then bought us each a hot dog for lunch. I sketched and he adventured. We ended up at Fort Point and were so thankful we never ...

Re: San Francisco, CA, USA [RESULTS]

Had an amazing sketchcrawl today. Started at the ferry building. It was pretty chilly in the shade. I painted the "Bridge & Umbrella" while my husband scouted out where others were drawing. We then went over to Justin Herman, Embarcadaro 4. Don found a great place for me to draw. I had...

Re: Sonoma County, Calif USA [Results]

Went to Jack London Village. Had a great lunch at the Blue Grass Bar & Grill, then sat out on the patio, painting the patio at Yeti. Prayer flags and yellow umbrellas in the February sun. What a great way to spend the day! (OK and a little wine and chocolate my husband, Don, went foraging for......

Re: San Francisco [RESULTS]

What a great way to spend the day! Beautiful people, beautiful weather and sketching until I got hungry. My husband found a great place to have lunch called Triptych. They show local art, so grabbed some wine and looked at all the work on the walls. You can't get much better than that! Happy anniver...
