Given the typical winter weather in Southern Ontario, I did a crawl in the RGB (Royal Botanical Gardens) Centre. There was plenty of opportunity for a variety of sketch items. (I'll post the sketches, as soon as I can get Flickr to understand that I'm the same person who was there yesterday. Argh!!!)

It was an unusally cold day here in Southern Ontario, but I started inside the Grimsby Library, and moved out to the surrounding streets. On a beautiful day here is southern Ontario, I felt like the Maytag repair man. Even though I had promoted the event, I was the only one. Argh! Regardless, it was 5 very pleasant and productive hours -- even though my chair was stolen while I had my back turned. James St. N. has many small galleries...

Starting point for the July 14 sketchcrawl is the Anglican Cathedral on James St., at 9 am. All in Hamilton and surrounding areas are invited. Plenty of exciting things happen on James N. on any Saturday morning. There will be shoppers, and exciting architecture.

We'll be meeting at the Th&B Railway Station on Hunter Street, downtown at 10 am.

For those in the area interested, I'm planning on starting at the TH&B (aka GO) station (downtown side) at 9:30 on May 15. I'd love to have a group participate.
