Re: Washington DC [USA]

OK we are going to meet at 11 AM at Rhode Island Avenue Metro Station entrance/exit. Then as a group we will make our way over the bridge and around through the parking lots to the Met Branch Trail (MBT). If you are looking for us we will be on the trail after 11:15. Then if the wind isn't too bad w...

Re: Washington DC [USA]

I have reconsidered the starting point will be better to begin at Rhode Island Avenue metro station and go as a group across the bridge and over through the parking lot to the entrance to the trail by the big murals. It has seven new sculputral totem poles installed a couple months back. Then we hav...

Re: Washington DC [USA]

Christian, If we meet at Brookland Metro it is only three mile to Union Station. 54 minute walk according to google maps. Let's start at Brookland and walk downtown. We can try to find somewhere to stop for food at New York Avenue then finish with food or coffee at Union Station. Others can join us ...

Re: Washington DC [USA]

I like the idea of going back to Congressional Cemetery this time we might plan to be drawing more and touring less. It sure had lots of good material to draw and public restrooms as well as metro access. Maybe we could plan to go over to Mr. Henry's on Penn. Avenue for a late lunch after a few hour...

Re: Oxford, UK [Results]

Thanks Weimin, Wow didn't you get a lot of work done! Great stuff I love the line and the sure handedness of all your rendering of people who are clearly still but not motionless. Alive with lots of details of place make these real in so many ways. Thanks for sharing more of your drawings. Looking f...

Re: AVBK, SE Wales, Results

Nice work, sorry you were out there all alone, looks like such an interesting place to draw. A touch of red on the "little red boat you would love to sail upon" would make it all the more inviting! Keep up the good work.

Re: Washington, DC. USA

Just stopping by to enjoy all the great work. That hat stand made me want to try that as a challange some time if I ever come across one. Thanks for stopping by and mentioning my "hat stand". It was in an open shopping mall setting. Any of those little carts in shopping mall corridors wou...

Re: Washington, DC [USA]

Eastern Market and that neighborhood sound like a great place to have a sketch crawl in spring. People, wares, buildings, food everything we might like to draw.
