Thanks for posting yours Dina and Jason! They are all great. Granny C; no, the little house with a red roof is in the boat shelter and is a Tin Hau temple. Tin Hau is local fisherfolk`s protector Goddess, much revered around the South China coast. This must be one of the smallest and cutest temples ...

wow! These writers can really sketch as well!
Really loved the combination of drawings with writing; nice touch. In fact alot of these posts are so interesting due to being a combination of photos, drawing, writing, computer generated graphics. etc.

yes I love the simple Matisse like quality of the first sketches vs the detailed pencil drawing of the meal... and I love the cheese story.
Your Mum`s Chinese Opera hands are lovely too.

These are lovely detailed sketches of the museum.

Here are some photos of some of our group who were with Vicky and her camera. The little red roofed house is actually a Goddess of the sea or Tin Hau temple run by the local fisherfolk who live in the typhoon shelter in their stilt houses and with their sampans just below in the water. I love living on Lamma Island as there are no cars and we are a small group of sketchers who appreciate this sub tropical island get away from Hong Kong city only 25 mins away by ferry.
