yeah, you nevre know w/ sf weather, lol.
it may be perfectly fine around the bay, but once you get within a few miles of downtown.. it'll be windy, wet, and overcast =)

more dead life =) no people sketches lately.. my garden attempt came out pretty poorly so i just ended up sketching some of the different stone lanterns they had at the japanese tea garden last wk. it was drizzling the whole time, lighting sucked and was nonexistent, and it was freaking cold - so we...

i assume you are coloring digitally =)

you obviously have a very good eye and an excellent feel for perspective. i bet you probably have a huge library of objects in your head after doing all these detailed panoramics!

san francisco is such a cool city to sketch in, it's geography, buildings and mass transit are so unique that you know when a drawing is of SF

especially when i saw your cool and crazy panoramic drawings before i posted, dan. but i love the lighting

now i'm off to order my favorite film of all time.. porco rosso =) hope buena vista did justice to the US release!

hi! i just stumbled across this forum and this new term for what i've always just called "going sketching" or "sketching on location" LOL. There haven't been many forums on the net yet devoted to just location sketches, so this is pretty cool =) anyway, here are some of my on loc...
