Re: Oxford, Maryland
I know where the town of Oxford, Maryland, is. But when I put "Oxford Park, Oxford, MD" into Google Maps it takes me to the Oxford police department on Market St. I don't know if that's anywhere near the correct park. Browsing the map, I see no parks named Oxford Park. I see Causeway Park....

Re: Washington, DC [USA]
The 2011 BookCrossing Convention is that weekend, so people will be leaving books all over the National Mall. If you'd like to catch one, I'd suggest somewhere around there, such as the sculpture gardens. More info here: http://www.bcindc.zoiks.org
Just a suggestion.

Re: Washington DC
I like the Cathedral-to-Dupont option, but if I have to pick just one of the three options I'd go for the Cathedral.

Re: Washington DC
Where have you been in the past? I'd love to draw at the Zoo but I know that a lot of people just did that in July with Elizabeth Graeber. Embassy Row/National Cathedral is another possibility. Roosevelt Island, the Arboretum, Rock Creek...I'm just making random suggestions, without thought to how M...

Re: Washington DC, USA
I was at the Corcoran from noon to about 2:30, at which point my behind could not handle those chairs any longer. Didn't hear anything about sketchcrawl, but by the time I left I had plans with a friend anyway so I probably couldn't have gone. I wish I'd known about the morning activities, though - ...

I'll be at the Corcoran, but I'm not sure how to identify anybody else since this is my first sketchcrawl.
