Alright, sorry for the late reply. I've been crazy busy getting my shots done for work. This was definitely a birthday to remember. I couldn't get a lot of money as we just don't have it, but I was able to donate $300 to the organization to help out. Every little bit helps right? I'll scan my sketch...

Utah helping out, birthday style...

So May 19th is my birthday. Woot! I've emailed all of my family and friends about this and have asked that they make this the bulk of my birthday present. So they will all be contributing to this great cause as I sketch on my birthday! Sweet! :D

On the freeways of Utah!

I'll be on the road on my way to an art show down in Southern Utah around the Zions area. I'll definitely sketch along the way. Southern Utah is gorgeous - I'll have plenty to look at and sketch! Sweet!!

(If you look me up, Lexi Memmott, you'll be able to find it...or search events!) I'll be down in California sketchcrawling my way through Disneyland. I've made so...

I'm in Salt Lake but I won't be here for this one. Instead I'll be out in Cali wandering about Disneyland. Should make for an interesting sketchcrawl. :D Bella_Dae : I hope you get to do some sketchcrawling. I'm guessing you're at the Y - check out all the people in the study hall in the testing cen...

24 hour comic - Faking Reality

Alright, it's taken me a bit to get this on here (been a bit busy!) but here is my comic I created for 24 hour comic day last weekend - it's called Faking Reality . This was brutal! A lot more tough than I thought. The copies I sent in had titles at the top that said "Faking Reality by ...

I was reading on your site how you do these without looking - I love that concept. Makes it more free flowing and honest feeling. It really looks like you caught the element of it all. The continuous lines really give it a lot of movement which make them intriguing. They make for very interesting pi...

Awesome sketches. I like the one of the building (second to the last) and how you paid attention to detail. Seoul would definitely be an incredible place to crawl in!

Haha, I made the mistake once of using a pen to do my sketching and then watercoloring. Where was the problem you ask? It was the fact that I didn't use a waterproof ink pen. It was quite drastic. Lol. But I do agree with mdog , I like pen because then I won't correct things. But also, if I'm going ...
