For the third anniversary of our participation in Enrico Casarosa's World Wide SketchCrawl (his 37th, our 13th), we returned to the site of our first event - downtown Mobile, in and around Cathedral Square during the Saturday market. Seven artists sketched - three of them were vendors at the market....

On Saturday, a dozen artists (half of them first-timers) participated in our Mall Crawl, sketching shoppers, shops and merchandise, the carousel and the game arcade. Carrie Dozier sketched at home and stopped by to have her two drawings scanned; Pat Schweiterman paused on her way to a veteran's lunc...

On Saturday, seventeen sketchers (including four first-timers!) met at Mobile Botanical Gardens, and despite the prediction of rain, we never saw a drop. Our next Crawl will be held at Mobile Botanical Gardens (5151 Museum Dr) from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Sign in at the Larkins Learning Ctr (building on the left when you come up from the parking lot) any time between 10 and 1, sketch as long as you wish, then stop back by so we can scan your pictures...

13 Mobile artists joined artists around the world in the 33rd international SketchCrawl (our 9th).
