Re: BRISBANE, Australia - French Festival @ Southbank

Sorry
I have been invited to go hand gliding so I won't be going to the French festival on Saturday.

Jmb57 - feel free to post a new folder with Brisbane, Australia - [results]. Everyone can create a new folder and post what they want.

Have a nice day

BRISBANE, Australia - French Festival @ Southbank

I wasn't sure if I would be in Brisbane this weekend but I will be. The French Festival is on at Southbank this weekend. I'll start from the South Entry from 9 am and will sketch the Wheel of Brisbane until 9.30 am and will then move on through the festival. http://brisbanefrenchfestival.com.au/fest...

Re: BRISBANE RESULTS

No worries JJ - Thanks for all your positive energy!

Elaine - I didn't realise! I think we had already connected on Flickr before the sketchcrawl.

My friend, Karen, that I bumped into on the ferry and joined us for lunch said she "may" come on a sketchcrawl next time.

Re: BRISBANE RESULTS

Thanks Yin and JJ for organising! It was my first sketchcrawl in Brisbane and it was another beautiful day in Brisbane! I caught up with everyone at New Farm (mid way point) and got one sketch away. New Farm was rezoned some 10/15 years ago from an industrial/warehouse zone to medium to high density...

Re: Paris [Results]

Wow to all the sketchers - the sketches are all so beautiful. The following sketch I scanned in rather than taking a photo. The yellow dot in the sky on the right hand side was from a young boy that stuck his finger in my palette and dabbed it on the sketchbook. The other boy stuck it in the Fr Ultr...

Re: Paris [Results]

Sorry to have missed you all and all the lovely sketches. Kim it seems like there was a nice group of people there. I arrived at around 5pm and did a couple of sketches and walked to the louvre to warm up. Beautiful city and lots of friendly people. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8023/7577272144_67db...

Re: Vancouver, BC Canada [Results]

Dave - it sounds like you had a big group there! Pity I missed you all.
The ATC sounds like a great idea!

It's really interesting - so many people come up for a chat when you sketch! I really like that part of sketching.

Thanks mark - the shadow was made up to make it look more interesting!

Re: Vancouver, BC Canada [Results]

Hi Sorry I got to English Bay a little late as I had to finish some work. At least I got there to have a look around. I had a little bit of time to sketch the Marine Building on Burard St on the way back to the hotel. It was getting a little cold in the evening so I didn't get to finish the brickwor...
