Re: Los Angeles, CA

Union Station could work, benches to sit on, and nice crowds of passersby to sketch.
Another possibility is the Central Library.
Cheers!

Hey crawlers,
Venice Canals look like fun.
A unique spot for Sketchcrawlin.
Any thoughts on a meeting place?

Re: Los Angeles SketchCrawl

This looks like the area to check out: "Eaton Canyon Falls For a spectacular view of Eaton Canyon, hike to the 50-foot Eaton Canyon Waterfall. You can get there either by parking in the Nature Center parking lot, crossing the wash, and continuing 1.5 miles  up a slight incline, or by parking ...

Re: Los Angeles SketchCrawl

Hi sketchcrawlers, Hi Shiho!
Haven't made it to a crawl in a while, but hope to make it to this one.
Eaton Canyon could be a fun choice. A good opportunity to do some landscaping watercolors...

Re: Los Angeles SketchCrawl

How about Universal Citywalk?
It's close to a metro station, so folks wouldn't have to shell out the bucks for parking.

Happy New Year!
Good point about a more LA type location. 3rd st Santa Monica sounds good. It is usually crowded with lots of people to sketch, and the pier is close as well.

Sketchpicnic

Excellent idea to go to G Park and sketch. And we can make a casual picnic at the same time. Sounds good to me.
