Great ...

... to see that you posted your pics, Rod. It was good to have you and Fin along for the time you were able to stay.

These are fabulous sketches. I like the way that you have told the story by grouping images together on a page.

Hope you can join us next time.

Hi from Sydney

What a pretty day you had, Andy. Great sketches, too. Did you have any mates or did you go solo?

Thanks for your initiative in getting us motivated.

Fun day

Looks like you had as much fun in Portland as we did here in Sydney. These are some inspiring watercolours.

The digeridoo player was far enough away that people kept moving between me and he. The second page is a big blow up bear that adver...

Another sketch

It seems that even people who seem to be sitting still move lots. They move even faster when they cotton on to the idea that someone might be sketching them. The lady with the funny headdress and no legs was selling balloons for charity. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/159/424551365_d41db3b0dc_m.jpg

Hi all, I looked at everyone's sketches on flicker. My husband is from Melbourne, so he recognized all of the sketches and said they were good. I liked them as well, but it gave him fond memories. Hasn't your hubby told you about the rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne :D ? I hope he enjoys the sk...

Sydney, Australia Sketchcrawl report

I have just returned from the Sydney sketchcrawl. 5 of us had a great morning and captured some Sydney icons. The day ended in a rain shower and promises to do it all again. My first contribution to the album is this picture of a well known Sydney site that is celebrating its 75th birthday this week...

Hi Robyn, yes, I was thinking about voting and drawing on the same day... I've managed to talk a friend into coming as well (but I told him it's next saturday, so he might not be able to make it) though we both think 10.30 on a saturday is a bit early. Maybe I can meet up with you closer to midday?...

It certainly is. The election is on the 24th. See you all at the Cafe Nero? opposite Pier 4 at the Quay between 10 and 10:30. I will have my orange WWSketchcrawl tshirt on and moleskine in hand. How about you?

Thanks for the heads up on this , Alissa. I think I can make it. Needs to be a weekend, though.

How about The Rocks or The Australian Museum in case of rain?

Great contour drawings. I have trouble with these because I go straight to the detail and can't leave well enough alone.

Thanks, Little Sister. I was trying to turn the page into a journal entry to document the day as well as be part of the Sketchcrawl.
