Detroit SketchCrawl [RESULTS]

It was a rather chilly day in Detroit to be sketching, but a few of us brave souls made it out on the streets. Several of us drew in Campus Martius amongst a whole slew of ravenous birds. http://www.drawsucka.com/Images/sketchcrawl/sketchcrawl10250801.jpg http://www.drawsucka.com/Images/sketchcrawl...

Because of the deep freeze, we're all going to draw at Henry Ford Museum. I'll be picking up students (maybe) from CCS at 11:00, so I think we'll meet at HFM around 11:15 or 11:20.

Admission is $14.

Let me join in to. I wasn't actually in Detroit, rather a few thousand feet in the air between Michigan and California. http://www.drawsucka.com/Images/Forum/plane.jpg I am loving what I see here in the Detroit board! We're going to do another mini-crawl next Saturday, so I hope to post some stuff u...

And thanks to everyone with the kind words, Peter Pen, Martha, Osoposo and of course Marty! Thanks for continuing this wonderful tra...

Those are some amazing sketches. Not to single anyone out, but Pete's studies are outstanding. Looks like you had some good weather, despite those grey skies you mentioned. (Not as chilly as we were in Detroit, at least!) Great job for everyone involved!

Detroit Results

Hey everyone, it was a little chilly up in Detroit, so we had to sit indoors for most of the crawl. A nice group of us wandered from the College for Creative Studies campus, up to the student center at Wayne State, and finally ended up in the Detroit Public Library. Good times were had by all, and h...

Hey Tom, I didn't know you had something so cool going down in Hamtramck. Looks pretty sweet. I run my own sketch group with a few CCS students up in Royal Oak. We don't have any fire-breather models... rather, we depend on the coffee drinkers around us. We are going to post a few of our sketches up...
