Re: Los Angeles, CA

The Ren Fair sounds really cool, but it is too expensive for me. What about MacArthur Park? I like Pershing Square too.

Re: Los Angeles CA

What time is everyone planning on going to the Expo? I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to the Expo. Will there be a group just sketching the whole day?

Re: Los Angeles, CA - USA

Paul, Where you the one telling me at the crawl where I can get 2D Animation Training for cheap? I can't remember the place you were telling me about. If you could post it up that would be great. Thanks! Sorry I had to leave so quickly everyone. I had another appointment. It was great meeting all of...

The grove sounds great Alina. I wasn't even thinking about Christmas stuffs yet.

I noticed you like ice cream Alina. Have you ever been to Scoops on Heliotrope by LACC? That place is my all time favorite ice cream shop.

Re: Los Angeles SketchCrawl RESULT

I wish I could have made it out. The car I borrowed had a leak in the fuel line, so I couldn't make it out at the last minute. I didn't give up though. My friend Robert and I went to the alleys on Melrose to sketch. I'll post my sketches and some pics soon. Sorry I couldn't make it everyone. =0( -John

Good work Alina. It sounds like we have a plan now. I think we should meet at the bell by 10AM. Does that sound good to everyone?

Re: Los Angeles

Well Marina Del Ray sounds good to me. I've never been there before so that can be a plus. What does everyone say? Let's make an official decision. Does anyone know a specific spot to meet in the fisherman village?

What about the Getty Museum? They have an incredible Bernini exhibit there. We could sketch his sculpture work.

Re: Los Angeles

Man, I'm really undecided with where to go. I have been to Little Tokyo a lot. I've never been through Echo Park, but I'm not sure what the scenery is like there. Venice beach would be cool since I've never really hung out there. Regardless of where we pick though, I'm sure we're going to have a gre...
