Thank you! That window was so much fun to sketch! The green spray paint really added a lot to the display!

Re: Portland, OR [results]

Fantastic day for sketching. Perfect weather, great company -- the Hawthorne district is the place to be! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3503/3738412208_2be68de6e4.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3499/3738412160_15b8a8728b.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3516/3738412230_7f0b8...

Re: Portland, OR [RESULTS]

You both did great sketches!!! Wouldn't it be nice to be able to sketch outside? Thanks for sharing these! We did get to do some sketching back in October. http://www.sketchcrawl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3317&p=13754#p13754 Teddy Roosevelt posed for us, but it got a bit chilly so we s...

Re: Portland, OR [RESULTS]

We had a great time. I'm glad we drew inside, it was very cold out! True, it wasn't snowing but it was much better sketching in the mall. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3263/3187277998_3ce809eeed_m.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3300/3186438465_7fdbee9e06_m.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/307...

Portland, OR /Vancouver,WA

I've noticed that there hasn't been a meeting place listed on the forums for this area in quite a while , so I decided to start one now. :D I think (Portland's) Old Town is a great place to sketch. Of course, if anyone has other ideas, let's hear 'em! Other ideas could be: Ester Park, Vancouver, WA ...

Thanks, enrico.
I just might be able to make this one! Weather has been very unpredictable so being inside makes sense!
Still, I hope I can make a crawl someday!

Re: Pencils

Let's talk about pencils. It's time for trip to the art supply store. What should I try? What's your favorite lead hardness/softness? Mechanical or good old wood? I like Faber Cost 2 mm F lead and a lead holder. I've been using them for about 10 years. But I think I'd like to go back to the ...

Enrico,
the website is very cool. I used my translator to try to find out more about these awesome little books. But the translation is a little rough :? --Are they online sketch pads ?

Wow! You captured my Alma Mater on a beautiful autumn day!
I had a deadline so I couldn't go that day. Hopefully, I'll make the next one.

2 mm leads

I've just been informed that Staedtler Mars quit making my favorite 2 mm lead ( degree F --not HB like it's pictured below). I've been using it for like forever. http://img108.imageshack.us/img108/1345/lead2mm8xy.jpg I could get them in a dozen to a package and they came in a nifty little plastic bo...
