Dallas, TX, USA

I propose a sketchcrawl around the farmers market and that general area. Somewhere with lots of people to draw!

Re: DFW, TX

Admission to the Ft. Worth Zoo is only $12, plus 5 for parking. I don't know if there is a way to take public transit there or not. Anyone know? Maybe carpooling would be a good idea too?

DFW, TX

Hey everybody. I was thinking it would be awesome if everyone in the DFW area who is interested in the sketchcrawl this time around could meet up somewhere in the metroplex. I know usually it's little cell groups either in Dallas, Fort Worth, or the Denton Area, but having a large group sketchcrawli...

Re: San Francisco, CA

I currently fit into a medium, but... time makes a fool of us all. So I'll go with an L as well.

Re: San Francisco, CA

Finally made it to California from Texas today. A long but satisfying drive. Staying in the Healdsburg area, but I'm pretty sure I can be there Saturday. Very excited about this. Enrico, I think I'd like to buy a shirt as well. Is meeting time 10 or 10:30 or anywhere in between? Can't wait to meet e...

Re: San Francisco, CA

hurray! I'm going to be in san fran during this sketch crawl! I usually try to get one going here In dallas. This is a pleasant coincidence! Since I'm visiting, I don't know where anything is (first visit), so I'm excited to explore with the original crawlers! let me know where to go! Ahh, so excited!

Re: Fort Worth, TX, USA [Results]

Thanks, it was fun. I kept looking for people who might have been sketching too, but didn't see anyone.

Nice sketch, Ramin! Can't wait to see everyone else's.

Hello all! I got to the gardens at about 10 or so, so I didn't get to meet up with the other sketchcrawlers, but I did get some sketching done myself! I did all of these in the Japanese Garden. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2587/4123071888_8d232d4fda.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2567/41223019...

That sounds like fun! I live in Dallas, and will probably be making the drive. I've never been there! Keep us posted!

Went down to the Bishop Arts District for this one. Found a neat place called The Soda Gallery, and it was also a comic book shop! Here's the few sketches I made: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2480/3937691996_2403ccee1a.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3514/3937693174_5352422bd8.jpg http://farm4....

Re: Dallas, TX: Shifted to Aubrey, TX

Sorry it took a while to post again. Some people and myself will be heading to the dallas farmers market, since it's near and free :) we'll be there at around 2ish, so if anyone still wants to meet up there, we'll be the people drawing.
Good luck sketching, everyone!

Re: Dallas, TX

How much is admission to the railroad museum? I've started a facebook event, and if people i've invited are interested, they might or might not be wanting to pay, but I think the museum is a great idea, too. I've never been.

Re: Dallas, TX

Interesting... I've never been to the farmer's market. I vote for it. (Also, I imagine the other places one has to pay for, although the railroad museum sounds very interesting too.)

Dallas, TX, USA

Hurray, the summer will be over and the weather cooler (hopefully). I'm interested in coordinating a SC here in Dallas again. I'll get the word out at my school and organize a group of sketchers! The Zoo might be a wonderful place to go to this time! Anyone else in the Dallas/Fort Worth area interes...
