Re: San Francisco, CA USA [RESULTS]

Beautiful work from evreybody on a beautiful sunny SF day! It was a pleasure to meet some of you afterwards and see all the great sketches. Here are some of my results: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_itxeexAFd4U/TT4i78iRk0I/AAAAAAAAKqw/miNpIANba0s/s1600/Japantown1.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_itxeexAFd4...

Re: San Francisco, CA [RESULTS]

I missed the crawl itself but managed to get to APE and sketch some of the comic-book fans & creators on the exhibition floor.

Re: French Riviera (RESULTS)

Thnx for the comments everyone. That night I was using a TOMBOW brush pen for the quick, loose sketches & a finer ball point pen for the musician drawings.

June 21 was the Fête de la Musique here in France so the 'A Monster In Paris' art dept. headed out after dark for a nocturnal sketchcrawl. Here are my sketches of the festivities: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3110/2603617445_efcffed834.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3261/2603617449_a8d5e726ba...

Re: Annecy - France [RESULTS]

Hi guys-it was a late decision for me to go to Annecy this year. I drove up from Nice on the Thursday so missed the crawl-it was an 8 hour drive! However on the Saturday a few of us made a mini-crawl-here are my results. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3049/2586380209_5eeba14062.jpg http://farm4.stat...

Thanks so much everyone for the positive response-it encourages us all. For those who asked I was drawing with a combination of regular Papermate fibre tip pens,a thick black marker, dried out calligraphy pens, Indian ink & watercolour. After the January Sketchcrawl we couldn't wait for the next...

French Riviera (RESULTS)

Technically this should be the Italian Riviera! We hopped across the border to find this medieval village that I discovered in a book of old photos by Jean Giletta. Cerriana lies in the mountains above San Remo, about an hours drive from Nice. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3062/2382735012_1c384367b...
