Love your work, especially the lake, so much like Ted Wesson. I went to your site and perused all your sketches then found a reference to Wesson. I knew you were a fan... I would have loved to study with the man!

Thanks annelito, MattJonze and Willborough for looking. The brown pelicans have made a wonderful recovery after their numbers declined in the '60s and '70s. Still endangered but getting better. Lots of serious artists in this area of Texas. Hoping to get several together for the next SketchCrawl. I only managed to get four sketches done but I sold lots of stuff at our garage sale! I haven't used Moleskine but would love to try both. I'm new at this SketchCrawl and just bought a new sketchbook last weekend for the upcoming event. Cant wait!
