Re: FIRENZE ( ITALY - RESULTS )

 Your drawings made me actually laugh out loud! My sentiments exactly! It rained here, too, and no one else showed up. But you did a wonderful job by yourself. A very productive day, even if you had to do it by yourself. Sometimes, that works out well. Beautiful watercolor work! You had a great...

Bryan/College Station [Results]

I thought I had my results posted, but the pictures didnt' show up. And the whole thing disappeared. Trying again! We planned to meet at Wolf Pen Creek Park on Saturday, but, Friday night, thunderstorms moved in and the rain was still pouring Saturday morning. So, we went to the alternate ...

Re: Bryan/College Station, Calvert, Brazos Valley area, Texa

If it is too wet, or raining, let's meet about 9 a.m. at the new IHOP on the HWY 6 Bypass. We can see from there, if we have a group, or where we want to go on to sketch. We may have to look for a dry place, indoors. I'm hoping it will dry out enough to sketch the concert with Roger Craeger at night...

Re: Bryan/College Station, Calvert, Brazos Valley area, Texa

Let's meet at Wolf Pen Creek Park Ampitheatre in College Station about 9:00 a.m. Saturday the 15th. If you want to start earlier, that's fine, too. We can stay there, go other places, hang around to sketch preparations for the Roger Craeger Concert that night, or even stay for the concert. (It's Fre...

Bryan/College Station, Calvert, Brazos Valley area, Texas

We're planning on meeting at Wolf Pen Creek Ampitheathre. The Art Center is just up the hill from there. That night, the Starlight Concert Series is presenting Roger Creager, so that should be interesting to draw!-even their preparations! It's a free concert, if anyone would like to stay around for ...

I thought I had this figured out and was typing away, when my cat jumped up on my computer. The on/off button is on the top, so he shut off my computer and I guess I lost all that I had done! :( Hope this works. I'm still trying to make this new computer do things that I had learned to do on the old...

I don't know what happened to my previous posts! But..... Here's the plan for tomorrow. In Bryan, meet at the Clara Mounce Library in downtown Bryan, about 9 a.m. Meet out by the bell or, if it is cold, meet by the door. We can work in the library, or decide where else we want to work when we meet. ...

Re: Bryan/College Station, Brazos Valley Area of Texas

Okay, Brazos Valley Sketchers, let's meet about 9:00 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 27 at the Clara Mounce Library in downtown Bryan. We can decide then, where we want to work, if we have a group, etc. (This is the Bryan Public Library, but was recently renamed.) We could meet outside near the bell, if the w...

I'm so excited to hear about the next Sketch Crawl. I couldn't go out last time due to knee surgery, but I'm hoping that we can get a group and do something this time. Anyone want to join me? I'd love to hear some suggestions, and see people all over the Brazos Valley doing the Sketch Crawl! Cecelia...

Re: Austin TX: Calling all Austin Sketchers!

Look for the Austin Plein Air Painters. I think they do this sometimes. You might look up V....Vaughan or Robin Cheers, online, and they can tell you more about who to contact. I had a link to them on my blog, too. http://cecelia-throughmyeyes.blogspot.com/ I'm over here in Aggieland, so we will try...
