Re: San Francisco - CA - USA

I would love to do Chinatown starting at the arch on Grant and Bush (coffee shop right there, easy parking at Sutter St garage and easy bus access), through Chinatown down Grant (easy to get lunch in a noodle shop) and finally into North Beach with our final meeting in Washington Square Park (places...

Re: San Francisco, CA - USA

part of the attraction for me is this big public group out in public doing art all together. I think it makes a big impression and feels kind of subversive! Plus I get lots done even in the group. So personally, I would like have a group to crawl with and then I would also love to meet up with a gro...

Re: San Francisco, CA 24th St Crawl, USA

For 24th Street crawl I think meeting at the corner of 24th and Portrero is a good beginning. 11am and I'm ready to draw!! If you're driving and want parking and you don't have to worry about feeding meters there's a garage just to the east of 24th/Portrero and rates aren't bad ($1.25 0-1 hours, $2....

Re: 24th St Crawl, Sf,CA,USA

lots of great subject matter, coffee houses and food available on 24th. I can wait to go draw at the acadamy of science but it's going to be quiet crowed there for awhile and might be a better solo place.

San Francisco, CA 24th St Crawl, USA

I've been doing some crawling and sketching down 24th street over the last month and it's been great. What about a crawl together down 24th starting at Portraro and heading west?

Summer's almost over - plans for next CRAWL?

I'm almost done with my summer vacation and have been drawing so much. One of the things that I'm looking forward to is the next CRAWL. Is there a date yet?

For a Crawl in Nov I did one with a few people at Fishermans Wharf and it was great! We met at the Fishermans Wharf sign and drew crabs, fish at the market, people waiting for the bush man to pop out and scare people, great signs along the way, the great street cars that stop in front of Walgreens, ...

The one that'll start at Fishermans Wharf (at the big Fishermans Wharf sign at the corner of Taylor and Jefferson) should be in North Beach around Washington Square Park by then. Sounds like a second one leaving from the Ferry Building will be at the...
