If the weather doesn't cooperate, might we find more sheltered sketching spots in the reptile house or aquarium?

Good luck group Chicago! I lived very near there a couple years ago, and did do some sketching. Chicago's an amazing place and I'm sure you'll find a lot to do.

M, I really liked how you handled the hand and hair.

It seems, oddly, that we pull together a large group whenever we take the ferry...but land is good too. I had the horrible fear last SketchCrawl that my sketchbook would be blown overboard and scattered across San Francisco Bay.

I've taken the liberty to start a Facebook group for SketchCrawl. Facebook is a free social networking service popular among college students, and available to anyone with a valid email address from one of over 2000 colleges.
