Re: Sydney, NSW, Australia
The Art Gallery is a good spot for winter. They will lend you a stool to sit on while sketching. I really enjoyed it one other time we were forced there because of the rain.

Re: Sydney - Australia [Results]
I only joined the sketchcrawl after lunch. In the morning I was teaching a sketching class in the Royal Botanic Gardens, so we had our own sub-sketchcrawl in the morning too. We went to the Tropical Centre both in the morning and the afternoon. It was the rainiest April day for ten years. The tropic...

Great to see your sketches. I wouldn't mind the cold if I could be in Spain. It's such a great place to sketch.

Great drawings of the cat & a very blustery sea. You've really captured that so well. And the bottle is wonderful - bravo for drawing at home anyway.

We were wondering what you were doing in New York while we were out in the sun in Sydney. We thought you'd have to be indoors somewhere. It was 28 degrees here (82-ish). But drawing at the Met. So envious!

What fun! I very much like the pub, and the kilts and particularly the very comfy looking chairs some of you are sitting in to sketch.

Hi everyone, Sunny Saturday in Sydney. It was 28 degrees (about 82) so we mostly sat in the shade to draw. On the Manly ferry, drawing in a stiff breeze on the ocean side of the ferry. Too windy to get the paints out. I had to save my colour for later. http://www.wendyshortland.com/images/jpg/manly_...

Great drawings from you all. I love the trees (soooo Rome!) and the ducks and the pencil (or pen?) rendering...and that last one ...is it acrylic? Wonderful colour.

Re: Altea, SPAIN [RESULTS]
Well yes I'm in Australia. I once spent a summer in Denia and I think I used to go through Altea on the way to Alicante. I'm planning another visit to Spain so if it turned out to be sketchcrawl time, then maybe I could come to Altea. What fun! Its' freezing here and bucketing with rain again. Hacia...

Oh it looks WONDERFUL. I drew some of those lamps when I was in Spain last time. I can't wait to come to Spain again. Thank you so much for all the photos because they really capture the atmosphere. I drew in a bar about a week ago & it is difficult without proper light, isn't it!You all did a g...
