I promise to get my sketches on this weekend. Everyone's sketches look good. El Rapido is one of my favorite Tucson spots. Your rendering is really nice Donna. I had a wonderful day with you all. Helen

Donna and Alanna,

Even though sketching is scarey....I had a lot of fun last time. I learned a lot about the way I see too. I'm looking forward to it!

I'll be there. My foot is in a boot. I had surgery last Wednesday. I can walk just fine. I'll be a little slower than you two though. See you Saturday. Helen

UA Art Dept.

Hi Donna,

Yes, I'll print up thepress release and post it at the university. Maybe I can get access to the profs mailboxes or ask a secretary to put a flyer in each.

Thanks,
Helen

UA

Everyone I once knew in the UA Art Dept. is gone. However, since I'm on campus every day, I could walk over on a lunch hour and take whatever we have printed up. Just let me know Donna. I like everyone's ideas and don't care where we go as long as we can get to facilities, water and shade. I'd be wi...

Not interested in the fundraising part

I've been a community volunteer and fundraiser for many years. Participated in two this weekend, in fact. I don't want to be part of this fundraiser, it's a great cause though. Sketching is a way for me to relax. Helen

Where next - May 19th

Donna, I suggest La Encantada, getting a model and pitching in to pay for he/she, Palamino Plaza, and Casas Adobes Plaza. Somewhere where there is shade, architecture and people to draw. We could also choose the UA barns on Limberlost and Allen where there are animals to draw and architecture. Or ma...

Alanna, I reread the info. on the March crawl. I understand that that was the fundraiser. The May crawl is not. Helen

May 19th SketchCrawl

I'd like to suggest several places - Tucson Botanical Gardens, La Encantada (sp?), St. Phillips Plaza or Palamino Plaza. There is shade at all these places so it might be nice in May. If someone needs a ride, I can help out.

Alanna's Drawings

Very nice Alanna. I especially like the sculpture. The next crawl is May 19th? Is this the fundraiser or was the last one the fundraiser? I may have another person interested. I'll keep you posted. So far, I intend on doing the next crawl.

Keep on sketching,
Helen

Didn't do 12.5 crawl...

Hi Donna, Relatives came to town for our cousin's wedding that weekend and stayed longer than expected. Didn't have time to draw but really enjoyed their visit. I'll be in Mata Ortiz for the 14th but I just might bring my sketchbook along. Any news on whether or not Paul will have folks from The Dra...

13th SketchCrawl

Hi Donna,

I'll be participating in the "12 1/2 In Your Home" crawl but won't be in town for the 13th crawl. Looking forward to viewing the in-home sketches. Any idea at this early date when the 14th crawl will be held?

Helen
