Hi Diane, check the San Francisco thread (you are in San Francisco?) - we're meeting in front of the main entrance to the SF Zoo at 11 am on Saturday!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Hey I heard back from the San Francisco zoo on their group rates, which are the following: Adults (18-64) - $9.00 Youths (12-17) - $4.50 Seniors (65 and up) - $4.50 and if there happens to be a kid under twelve attending, their admission will be $2.50. If you've got Sketchcrawl shirts, wear 'em... o...

If there's anything I can do to help out in the organizational stuff, drop me an email... I'm not in the city, but if there's anything I can do, I'm more than happy to help.

Looking forward to it!

I'd like to do Tilden Park sometime, but that would be a Berkeley group and not SF. As for where to go in December, maybe we could plan on going up to fort mason, but meet somewhere in the city first. That way if the weather turns out to be bad, we could go coffee-shop hopping or something instead...?

Cool to see such a big LA turnout! I recognize a couple of faces in the photo... :D That's a long drive you made yesterday, storydesign. I like the Gorman water-tower (or whatever that thing is)... always a landmark on my drives down to LA, because when you pass it you know you're almost there. Have...

The one drawing with the skirt, feet, and shadows - that one is gorgeous.

By the way, it was nice to meet you at Comicon (I was one of many people at the Drawing Board get-together, and you gave me one of your stickers)! Great work.

I had a lot of fun yesterday. It was indeed a huge turnout... I wasn't able to stick around and swap sketchbooks, so I'm getting my fix on this thread. Here are some of mine - the rest are on my blog , I didn't want to dump too much on this thread! splinesmith , I really like those marker and pen sk...

I like the makeshift roadblocks!

Have you got a higher-res version of your flier? I'd like to do a printout... it's very cool.

If they get suspicious about us being a group, we can disguise ourselves with fake moustaches and trenchcoats. That should throw them for a loop!

So, ticket book = yes?

Whatever ends up happening, I'll do my best to make it... I'd like to throw in my vote for meeting up somewhere accessible by BART or muni - getting out to Point Reyes would take some doing.

We could meet in Sausalito, instead of doing the ferry?

These are awesome... they look spontaneous, but also like you could just stick them in a picture book, like they're finished illos already.
