You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful setting in which to create your sketches! I love all this work: yes, so loose, colorful and creative.

Wow, nice work, Tokyo! I had the pleasure of visiting your city back in the '80's. Loved everything about it and love all your work!

The bridge spans the Columbia river here in the Tri-Cites of Washington state and connects two of the cities: Kennewick and Pasco. Here's a photo of the bridge from the...

Tri-Cities, Washington

There is a small group of artists who have been getting together for about 6 or 7 months now in the Tri-Cities, in warm weather for landscapes, architecture, cars, etc., and in cold weather - figure drawing. Through craigslist we have identified about 10 people who want to, and have been, modeling f...

A Great Spread Tokyo! Love all your sketches and photos. I was in Tokyo in the late '80's and was sooo impressed with the city. It's beautiful, as is the entire country that I saw (we took the train to Kanazawa, our primary destination), loved it all!!

Tri-Cities, WA

After a few emailings we finally got three people, Marsha, Mike and me, Jim, together for the 25th Sketchcrawl here in the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland) in Washington state. Our original destination was outside, but the weather is cold today and the wind is making it even colder; so we dec...

Tri-Cities, Washington - [Results]

Four artists from our tri-city area of Washington state (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland) went out this morning and drew, sketched, and painted the Franklin County Courthouse. Since I have not had any luck getting the few artists I know in this area interested in "doing" a SketchCrawl, I am ama...

Re: Tri-Cities, Washington

One of the artists at the Columbia Park Marina, Mike Warren, presented me with this line sketch of the trees which line both sides of the Columbia River here in Kennewick, WA. Nice sketch, Mike, and thanks for offering it up for Sketchcrawl #23! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2463/3712501186_fab131e...
