Quite a neat idea. The only thing with google street view images is that the perspective is crazy - extreme wide angle, bent lines and the viewpoint is about 8' above ground level. Quite often you can tell a sketch has been copied from google because one or more of these traits is visible.

Read the last 20 posts from the UK/Ireland - Galway, Manchester, Scotland, Huddersfield, Harrogate etc. etc. people post once and never return and no replies.

Thanks Mark, I think the church worked well in that format - it is on a hill. The running was the cold, nothing would dry.

Lovely work. We had a similar day (maximum 8ºC) but also had a very good turnout.

Yes, it should be a good one. The weather had been good the last couple of years as well so hoping it will be the same.

Very true, the announcements are also getting later and later which makes it difficult to plan in advance. We are planning a sketchcrawl in Aston but can only do it as long as it doesn't conflict with any Aston Villa home games! So the more notice the better.

You are right, A LOT of people seem to visit once, post a question and never come back, at least in England. We do get people on our sketch crawls who've seen in on this site though so keep positing.
