Inspiring!

Beautiful sketches - and a great way to get jazzed for the start of the crawl here, thanks Paint monster!

Re: Berkeley Sketchcrawl

Anybody up for a Berkeley Sketchcrawl? If so, I'd be up for meeting at Cafe Strada (College and Bancroft) at 11AM. :D You might want to spin this off into a Berkeley thread, so it's more visible. Makes sense to me though - seems like there's a bit of interest in Berkely, and I'm sure we have enough...

A possible route?

How's this route sound? Meeting points: * Ferry Building (start @ 11?) * Walton Square (2 hours in? (1)) * China Town (2 hours later? (3)) * Washington Square/Rogue Ales Public House (end (5)) http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&ll=37.798696,-122.402544&spn=0.020244,0....

Emma, that sounds cool - we can do a sort of "classic" crawl ending up around the Rogue. Count me in for San Francisco.

where is everyone?

Given that we've had up to 88 crawlers show up, I'm amazed so few people have put in their nickel's worth. It seems like there should be enough people in the area to support all 3 locations, but perhaps I'm too optimistic. Do we have enough people to organize a crawl for each place? Setting up flyer...

Mountain View

Mountain View is pretty convenient to Cal Train, the markets and Castro street are all very close to the train. I'd be happy to crawl in either location, I seem to wind up out of town every time new one hits!

There's also nothing to say that there couldn't be a SF and a MV crawl. :)

Golden Gate Park

GG Park is a great locale, filled with interesting activities and people. Plenty of shade, and many characters. I wish I could join the crew this time around. Hopefully, I'll find some kindred souls in Shanghai. Have fun folks!

Shanghai, PRC (?)

Okay, so it's a long shot, but I'm hoping there will be other crawlers somewhere in or around Shanghai this time out. I'm staying near Zhongshan Park, and have easy access to the rail, but I can cab it anywhere. Anyone?

definitely not scenic :) It is very different from previous crawls though, and is easily accessed by transit (which is another tradition).

I'm up for anywhere though, I missed the last one!

we've typically stayed to areas that are near or have easy access to food, and often have hit somewhat touristy areas. Perhaps a trip down the new "T" MUNI line would be good? There's the ballpark, a shipyard, and the "historic" dogpatch. I'm told Little Hollywood is somewhere ne...
