I enjoyed looking at the results here while I was eating my breakfast on the morning of sketchcrawl. Good inspiration for my day.
I especially like the sketch of paper lanterns. Mary

The rain didn't keep your group from making plenty of good pictures, even with watercolor!
Love the photo of the elephant holding a sketch of itself!

Sad and wonderful drawings, Oslo.
I think this kind of thing--drawing and sharing pictures from around the world--is the best of human beings. Thank you, Mary

Wow! Your drawings turned out very well. Great work for your first crawl. Mary
p.s. I have several old cameras that I think I should draw for practice. Your work helps motivate me. Thanks.

When I tell people in my city about the World Wide Sketchcrawl, I tell them how everyone can participate and how all the pictures turn out charming. The pictures from your group, especially from the youngest artists, are lovely. Nice job! Mary

[RESULTS] Wichita, KS Thanks, Miro!
The big story here in Wichita, Kansas is our excessively hot, dry summer. Maybe this summer will end up being as hot as the hottest summer on record--1936 in the middle of the American Dust Bowl. Who would want to sketch outside on a day when the high temperature is 108 F? Surprisingly, good company...

Really like seeing the signs on buildings there (Chinese restaurant, movie theater). Makes me feel like I'm on a mini visit there.
Nice work sketching the small building through the window, Monique. If you hadn't told us, it would be impossible to tell that you didn't sketch outside.

Wow! Your pictures are very beautiful. I admire how you all worked outside to capture great images of the sculptures. I've never seen anything like this in person or in photos, so your "results" are a treat. Thank you.

Looks like you had good weather there to make your fine sketches. Isn't it cool how you had company around the world for your sketching, even if you were drawing alone there? Congratulations!
