Re: Vienna - Austria [RESULTS]

Well they those handrails do look really difficult to draw! I think you did a really good job on them though and I really like the way you've used darks to bring out the shapes and forms - it's really nicely done!

Re: Sapporo / Japan [RESULTS]

woohoo! Whatever you did, it worked :) i think the chinese government have blocked your website for some reason though - I'll check it again when I'm in London tomorrow, Great sketches as always, I love how you're not scared to draw anything, you can just bring out your sketchbook anywhere and draw ...

BEIJING - CHINA [RESULTS]

Unfortunately I was late and so we couldn't get a group together, and because of that I didn't get to do as many sketches as I'd like. The day had way too many cool down periods between sessions too! Still, we had a really nice walk around Hou Hai lake, and Eunice, my wife even managed to get some s...

Re: Sapporo / Japan [RESULTS]

your image and your website aren't loading for me at the moment, which is a shame because I'm a big fan of your sketches. It could be a problem on my end though since China do block a lot of sites.

Re: Beijing, China

argh - that's a shame. We actually arrived at 12:54 so we might have actually seen you get up and leave and not notice you! I must have looked a right idiot asking everybody in there if they were part of the sketchcrawl. One lady actually raised a hand and said 'no - don't want' as if she thought I ...

Re: Seoul-Korea [RESULT]

wow, a great turnout! Kim, my favourite is the collaboration with your daughter - the two styles go together amazingly well! You should get that one framed, it works beautifully as a standalone piece. bhyoo, great colours! Really like the sense of scale in the one from the steps of the pavillion. Ca...

Re: Blue Mountains, Australia [RESULTS]

These are amazing! you have such a clean style -they remind me of old style architectural sketches done with fine Rotring pens! Again, love the documentational style, and the watercolours really bring them to life. If you did these every day you'd have one amazing diary :)

Re: Beijing, China

Sasa, my wife and I were thinking of going to HouHai Park in the morning since we haven't seen it during the day yet - maybe we could meet there? Say, about 12:30? It's quite close to the drum and bell tower/lama temple too isn't it? shanghailady's suggestions are all near there too. We could find a...

Nice sketches Macaruba, I especially like how refined you make the sketches after the second pass. Really like the slightly exaggerated proportions too. Looks like you had a really fun family day out!
