Beautiful work, lovely colours in behind, engaging pen work in front. Really enjoyed looking at these sketches more than once.

Toronto - [RESULTS]
The weather report was iffy, but three of us met down at the Distillery District at 11 a.m. to see how much sketching we could do. We did manage to meet up with the 3 hardy souls from Markham, but lost track of them later in the day (looking forward to seeing what they did, when they post it here on...

Wonderful drawings! Such a strong sense of place you give -- really embodies the whole idea of SketchCrawl to my mind, giving others in the world a sense of where you are situated, in a way that nothing else but a drawing could do. Bravo!

Re: 19th SketchCrawl on June 21 -- Toronto group
Hi, Sorry I think we missed you today. Three people showed up from Markham, and three from Toronto. We connected with each other early on, but then drifted apart. But we missed YOU entirely. Next time maybe we can all decide on a place to meet where it's easier to find one another! I hope to see the...

Toronto SketchCrawl plans
A suggestion has been made that any and all interested SketchCrawlers meet at 11 a.m. at Balzac's (a coffee shop) in the Distillery District. I'll be there at 11:00 to meet anyone who comes. We'll plan to be sketching by 11:30 a.m. Toronto seems to be chock full of great stuff to do that day, but I ...

Belated Toronto [Results]
I know it's been a long time since the 18th sketchcrawl happened, but I've been sorting out internet technical difficulties ever since. So here goes. Nikki Abraham's sketches: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2152/2422713930_4b7e19fe3c_m.jpg This is a watercolour sketch of a famous local Toronto ice c...

Re: 19th SketchCrawl on June 21 -- Toronto group
Hi Liz, Great! We can look for each other (women with sketch pads? In my case, I'll have a fold-up stool and a small bucket with watercolour paraphernalia as well) at 11:00 a.m. on June 21, and take it from there. A number (well, a few) people on my list have shown interest, but there's no definite ...

Re: 19th SketchCrawl on June 21 -- Toronto group
Hi Liz, I haven't yet done the invitation to my mailing list of potential June 21 SketchCrawlers, so I don't know how many others there will be, or what they will want to do. I'm kind of partial to going down to the Distillery District because I've only ever been there at night, and I loved the cobb...

19th SketchCrawl on June 21 -- Toronto group
Three of us from Toronto went out on March 29 for the 18th SketchCrawl, and had a cold but great time. Still wrestling with the posting/sharing results technical aspects, but hope to have this resolved by June 21. Is there anyone else from Toronto who wants to get together to draw in Toronto on June...

Alisa's drawings
Alisa your drawings are very beautiful. The line work is very sensitive. Your paintings are lovely, too; the colours are a nice counterpoint to the black-and-white pencil work.

Thanks for responding. I don't know how to get into Flickr, I've never tried to do that. Can you tell me how? Are you working on a Mac (like me?) Instructions that are good for PCs do not work for Mac users, as you likely already know. Once I get into Flickr., then I have to solve the problem of upl...

Is anyone else out there a keen Crawler but a techno-idiot?
I'm trying to "post" about the 3 hardy SketchCrawlers who turned out on Saturday for the 18th SketchCrawl in Toronto (we only heard about it on the previous Monday). We had a great day and it was so exciting to be part of this great worldwide drawing adventure (our usual thing is life draw...
