MarkWinters: Sorry you can't make it! We'll miss having you there! For anyone else that can come - let's meet inside the gate at 10am. I'll try to make it 15 mins early or so and hang out outside for a few. I believe we have 3 or 4 coming from North Phoenix - anyone else still going? Send me a priv...

OK, shall we say Wildlife World Zoo for sure? What time? I'll probably shoot for 9 or 10ish. We can meet at one of the cafe areas inside the zoo.

Hey Mark! Either the Phoenix Zoo or the Wildlife World Zoo; both are excellent and either one is close enough to be worthwhile.

Phoenix - Arizona - USA

Once again looking forward to another crawl and meeting everyone here. Any suggestions for another venue? There are a few excellent zoos and I loved the gardens and cave creek..

Mark- Thanks again, that was a blast. These are amazing. I didn't really see the marker ones while we were there but they are excellent. I could go back again for a better crack at some of the layouts but you did certainly do it justice. I might take a shot at a few of the sculptures from photo for ...

Thanks donnam & Donal! Ok, here are my small entries into SC16's archives. The Phoenix contingent grew to five for this crawl and we all met up at a park for a few hours to wait for the gardens to open. Once in the gardens we found a few shaded benches from which to sketch but it was unseasonabl...

I am also open to anytime however I just noticed that the Gardens do not open until noon on Sundays :? (hrs 12-4p). We could hit another spot first then wander over to the Gardens at noon. I had thought about heading down at maybe 10 or 11.

I am also a huge Toshiba fan and (after owning three) find the Porteges to be much more conducive to lugging out of the house - they are smaller, lightweight, reliable and the pen interface rocks in Sketchbook Pro.

My2¢.
