New York City - USA

Hey y'all, If anybody's interested, I propose meeting up at Central Park by the East 84th St. entrance. Easy access to the park and fancy buildings, as well as 2 museums should the weather be cold! I plan to be there at 11am, but if I'm stuck at work, i may be absent from our meeting place *but that...

Here are my belated sketches. Good to finally meet the New York crew (proper). I didn't get to spend much time with y'all, but hopefully next time I can get to know you guys better and hopefully learn some stuff from you! Fun with felt-tipped markers!! I was trying to go for expressive linework with...

I'm definitely participating. And I'd be willing to plan, just need to think about it a little bit.

Thanks for the comments!
Hey Peter Pen, that guy in the subway is me!

Alisa, yeah, let's have some NY solidarity next time! I guess you thought your crew were the only non-lame peeps in town, and I'm proud to say that you were slightly wrong! :cD

New York City *Results*

Heya, here's what I got. I was alone all day, but it was still a fun time, although excruciatingly cold. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a57/slavidzee/SketchCrawl1.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a57/slavidzee/SketchCrawl2.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a57/slavidzee/SketchCrawl3.jpg htt...

D'oh!
too bad about the miscommunication. Yeah, I thought the San Francisco Crawl's idea about the zoo was interesting, I guess y'all wanted to mirror that huh?
I guess it's back down to 2 people for the midtown crawlers.... Looking forward to pix anyway.

Bobyopulent, I question your dedication to this craft, I really do. Taking long pensive walks to sketch your surroundings is the definition of bachelors party!
Just kidding, and CONGRATULATIONS!

Hi all, ok, so i'm definitely down with checking out the Morgan, since i've never been there before. I'm also tuncating the day down because I now have a knicks game to goto (it's a birthday gift!) Anyway, I sure hope it's not just us 2, bobyopulent, but I plan to stick to this itinerary no matter w...

Great ideas yose!

Whoa, DT/UT is only... like my favorite cafe! In fact, I've even gone there for the purpose of sketching, and I don't really do this kind of stuff often.

Great ideas all around. let's do this!

Thanx

M, I dunno what you're talking about. When you gave me a peek in your sketchbook, I knew instantly why I did not go to art school, and why I am studying psychology in grad school, not illustration :-)
Keep up the good work! Post more pics!
