Hey Chris, I have no idea what you looked like, but I was totally blown away by your sketchbook when it was going around the table at that crawl! It'll be awesome to see it again.

Enrico - beautiful beautiful colors, and it looks like one of many...? Othbot - the brown/sepia brush sketches are beautiful... kind of the feel of being out on a lawn with the sun so bright you can only see shadows. :) Rebecca - amazing brushwork! The pond, and trees have great texture. Did you go ...

These are great, you guys! I got impatient reading and went scrolling down for the pictures, and then had to go back and doublecheck that I was right - 4th Street is a character in itself.

Sounds like you all had a good time... beautiful work!

I'd vote for Yerba Buena gardens as an ending spot. There are a lot of places nearby to get a drink or something to eat, if crawlers are interested in that kind of thing. Although that can kind of be said for anywhere in San Francisco... Really looking forward to this one. I'm shopping my donor form...

These look great, everyone. I like all the pterodactyls... and the amphibians in jars. A lot more color than the last crawl? Maybe because it's finally looking like spring.

Urgh. I'm bummed that I missed it. Next one, for sure!

Ack! Something just came up and it looks like I'm going to have to be in Los Angeles the weekend of Sketchcrawl 13! I've got the flyer for the Berkeley crawl all done and everything, so I'll post it here - Oliver, would you completely hate stepping up to be fearless crawl leader? You know the campus...

Let's say 11 am. That way it won't be too much of a pain for people coming from Fremont (nudge nudge) or somewhere down there.. or San Francisco. Now, how about places in the area that are big enough for all of us to pack into and chill out and talk about the day...? Someplace heartily supplied with...

Haha, yeah. Western Entrance! Every time I walk by I can see it down the side streets, and it looks, you know, grassy... like a park..

What do you all say?

Why don't we do a campus crawl? There's the Campanile (is that how it's spelled?), a lot of old and interesting buildings, squirrels, and apparently a tyrannosaurus rex! Does this sound good to everyone? We could meet at that western park-kind of thing at Cal, where University intersects with the ca...

Meeting up near/on campus sounds good to me... what do the rest of you think? Gourmet ghetto is good, too. I'm planning on doing some biking around next week, and will keep an eye out with Sketchcrawl in mind for interesting places in the area to draw, but if you UC Berkeley/local people have ideas,...

Yeah, Oliver! I'm totally not trying to like... secede from the SF group. Ironically I'm going to be living now in Berkeley but know San Francisco better, thanks to sketchcrawls! We could always wander around somewhere in the East Bay during most of the day and then call the SF'ers to see where they...

East Bay/Berkeley

Hey guys, I'm going to be living in Berkeley for this sketchcrawl, and I know several of you are in the East Bay (and if you're in SF, well it's just a bart ride away...) and I thought it might be fun to do a crawl in Berkeley, since I can't think of anywhere in SF we haven't already done (except ma...

Here's mine. My apartment, as you can see, is pretty much still furnished in 'dorm room decor', and so I was kind of embarrassed to draw any of the other rooms. I see all your houses and they look very personalized and comfortable! Great to see everyones' houses and their take on them. http://www.em...

There's some cool stuff to see in Sac... I'd like to do Old Sac someday, even though it's ridiculously touristy. Where else can you draw/wander around on a riverboat? I'm in Davis and there are a couple of other sketchcrawlers here, plus some interest from students at UCD. I'm moving, though, so I w...
