The opposite, I commute to Emeryville, the drive is not that bad, once you get use to it, or once you get creative like this little project. I think once they are done with the Hwy 101 - San Rafael/Richmond Bridge junction it's going to be a lot better. Time? depends on traffic, anywhere from 1 1/2 ...

Looks like I will be attending the Linux Expo in SF on 8/4 Wednesday, I thought I would check and see if any techie crawlers were going to be there too. Figured I would check out the Expo for a while and do some sketching around there after lunch

Are you lucky enough to use a Cintiq or you use the traditional tablet (wacom) and regular monitor (cr...

A book to get you past the fear :)
I don't remember exactly what commentary/book I was viewing/reading but Robert Rodriguez (SpyKids, SinCity, etc) recommended this book as a tool to get past the fear of 'finishing' or getting started for that matter. Art & Fear Observations On the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking David Bayles &...

This was my first time as well, it was a great day. Due to prior engagements I was not able to arrive until noon, I caught up with some of you around 1pm, finally making it to coit tower at 2pm, then it was time to go home.
