Hello,
It certainly has been a while since Enrico's first sketchcrawl (which was when the last time I visited this site). Anyway, I grabbed my moleskin and headed out to try to make a contribution. This is the result.
I got a set of Faber-Castel Pitt grey markers for chistmas but have never used them. So I decided to test them on my first sketch and managed to ruin a perfectly good pencil sketch. Where is the undo on these things dammit!
A quick sketch over the Fyris river which runs through Uppsala
Oops, scanned these in grayscale. This depicts one of the old water pumps that date back to the good old days before indoor plumbing and penicillin. They stand about 2.5 meter tall.
This building is known as Skytteanum, don't remember why.
This statue is about 8 or 10 meters tall (that's roof tops in the background). I was originally intending to draw the cathedral which it stands in front of, but when I arrived I realized that it would take the better part of the weekend just to make a quick sketch of it. Damn those wacky gothical buildings.
Well, that's that. What a great excuse to draw and practise. [/url]
