So the suggestion of hitting the Japantown's cherry blossom festival sounds good to me ...
but I wonder if we should meet somewhere else, I mean the festival sounds like fun, but maybe half a day there will be enough (considering also it's a bit of a crowded time there) ...
Maybe a museum stop before it ?
Uhm, or maybe just Fillmore street and some of pacific heights cool homes?
any thoughts?

That route sounds good to me. I missed out on the last museum crawl, so a museum stop would be nice. But if the weather is nice & clear by then, I'm all for Fillmore and Pacific Heights.

It will be crowded in Japantown - half a day is good. Suggestions for an art gallery or museum? Fillmore Street sounds cool to me too. :)

After Japantown

Yes, it'll be crowded, so I'm sure we'll want to move along from Japantown after a while, regardless of the weather. Maybe walk up the hill to St. Maytag, er, St. Mary's Cathedral? (Dramatic bldg., although I've never been inside so I don't know if main area is open to public on Saturday, nor whether there is interesting art inside).

Excellent ...
I think the plan then will be to draw around Fillmore street, maybe going toward Pacific Heights and Cow Hollow in the morning (the view of GoldenGate is beautiful from some parts of Fillmore) and then the Cherry Blossom festival in the afternoon. Slightly more architectural drawing in the morning and more people and gesture drawing in the afternoon.

The question now is, where do we meet ?
Can't think of a cafe' big enough to gather the troups ...
I love Grove Cafe on Filmore and Bush, but it's too crowded and small for a SC meeting ...

uhm, any suggestions?

Hey Emil, welcome to sketchcrawl!

It's pretty easy to recognize the San Francisco sketchcrawl group, at least, because it's usually a frighteningly large amoeba of people that oozes across streets and is comprised of approximately 15% Sketchcrawl tee-shirts.

And everyone has got sketchbooks. Lots of fun!
