How about it? This will be my first and I don't want to do it alone...

This is my first time too, I think last one started at the Met (correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe we could start at washington square park, or the south street seaport?

Saturday, April 22nd is definetly do-able for me unless the subway has some kind of problems with service. This will be my first time attending one, so I'm eager to feel what this is all about. It's going down at the Met at what time? I'll have to make sure to bring the camera along as well.

Hope you guys all have fun in NYC! I won't be able to make this one, but I'm sure Cynthea will do a fine job organizing :)

Afraid I have to bow out this time

My daughter has a thing scheduled that I promised to take her to months ago... So I'll have to sit this one out.

But I would like to see what everyone's drawn!

Keep me posted!

Hey I'll be there Saturday! Central Park, then? What specific location, if one's been decided? We'll need an official meet up spot so I don't get too lost! See you guys there!

So, it's supposed to rain tomorrow...starting early in the morning and lasting all day. How about meeting at the Met tomorrow instead?

I'll be there at the 11am inside the main entrance.

I totally forgot this was supposed to happen until I checked the forum out today to see if a location had been chosen. If not for the bad weather I'd have missed out totally, but then agian I'd have been sketching regardless. I suggest next time we just meet up at the Met as a default location and just trudge out the central park if the weather is accomodating. As for tomorrow, I can't make it as I made plans with friends, but I hope it goes off without a hitch.

I probably should've picked the Met, but Central Park is big, and I'm really fond of Central Park North.

Maybe another time.

It was very rainy and cold yesterday, and everyone was running a bit late. But it was still a lot of fun. We wandered through the Euoropean Sculpture Courtyard, then through Oceania/Africa/ Americas galleries.

People joined and left throughout the day...after the museum we went to visit our friend Gina. We ate dinner and then lingered in Starbucks to draw.

The rest of my drawings from Saturday can be seen on my blog: http://cyntheasm.blogspot.com/

Fantastic sketches Cynthea - I especially love Met Statue 3.1. She looks vulnerable yet beautiful.
