Thanks, Gerald! It's good to know when's the last time we can get back to SF.

I'll need 4 tickets for the ferry (if we're doing a head count for the ferry book of tickets, that is).

anyone from concord?

Looks like Sausalito won't be as crazy on Saturday,
the 28th Annual Chili Cook-off is actually on Sunday,
Sept. 24th - 11am to 5pm, Dunphy Park.

Please let us know asap if you are interested in chipping
in for purchasing a booklet of tickets together. Reminder:
20 tickets per booklet. ($72 for 20 tickets, that's $3.60
each ticket).

Thanks emma and Karen, we counted you both

Here's three more for the headcount--we'd like to chip in as well...and possibly more of my friends too, but for now, just count three :)

Allan and I will need two ferry tickets, too. We'll be coming from Davis and will take BART from the East Bay. Emma, would you like a ride down from Davis?

there's one little problem with the carnet of tickets ... I was about to purchase it online for us ... but it seems to really stress, even on the ticket, that it is a commuter only ticket, no groups should use it.
So I am having a hard time thinking of 20 of us, with t-shirts and all getting on the ferry and look like we're not a group ...
I mean, I am all for saving some money but I am not quite sure how kosher this will be ...

any thoughts ?

Doh! I guess they've had problems with it in the past. If its against the rules then I guess we're outta luck on the discount - sorry folks :(

the more I think about it the more it sounds maybe we shouldn't do it ...
I don't know about you but I'd sleep a better night on the 22nd ...

it was a good idea Frosti, thanks for thinking of it ...

we probably still should order tickets online though ...

ok sorry for the flip flop on this but Gerald called in and it seems like we could make it ... we'll just have to go through the gates separately ... but I think it should be fine ... also I am sure there will be plenty of people with separate tickets ... so I think it'll be fine ...
I'll purchase a 20 tickets carnet ...

If they get suspicious about us being a group, we can disguise ourselves with fake moustaches and trenchcoats. That should throw them for a loop!

So, ticket book = yes?

think of it as a student rate ;)
