Howdy people! I'm from Tamworth in Australia and if you have heard of it then it's probably because it's the "country music capital" of Australia (for which I am truly sorry!! LOL). I'm a high school art teacher with a degree in Fine Arts and I'm aiming to get out of that profession and into illustration/graphic design by the end of the year once I move to Vancouver (looking forward to having more conversations with adults and I figure my degree should be useful for something! ).

G'day mate ... that's as most Australian I can get - haven't been there for 11 years 
... and welcome aboard! A good idea, you want to join and quit teaching - though it's sad your pupils won't get involved with Sketchcrawl, too
