I just discovered this group a few weeks ago. Where have you all been hiding?

After a long haitus from drawing, I'm back to what I love: drawing. My job is very stressful, so this is just what my soul needs.

On May 1, I'm taking an all day class called "How to Keep a Sketchbook for the Rest of You Life". The instructor is Ken O'Connell, who is professor Emeritus at the University of Oregon and is well-known for his sketchbooks. I've been wanting to take a class from him for a long time so when this one opened up, I was first on the sign-up list! He also teaches a two week sketchbook class in Italy on even numbered years. That's something to save for!

I look forward to getting to know this group and learning from you all.

Hello to All,
I discovered the site back in the winter (in snow - can you believe it) and
am now ready to take the plunge and post and "draw" a group together
for the 28thCrawl at the Hunter Museum in downtown Chattanooga. We will
meet in the lobby at 12:00 noon (high noon daylight savings time for EST, in
case we have Alabamians or Georgians, etc. coming from "slow time" to be
with us. Once we meet, we will decide inside, outside for the crawl, etc.
I will try to post to AVA this week. Donna
