Greetings,

Looks like I may not be able to make it to SF, there is still a chance.. time will tell though :(

Just in case, I will start this post/location.

I was thinking a short sketchcrawl around Santa Rosa's Old Railroad square. If it rains, there are various restaurants and a coffee shop where we can go into, or meet at. However, I think the location may be a little limited in terms of what to sketch, and I do not think any of us want to go to the mall.

The other option could be DownTown Santa Rosa.

Any other suggestions?

Please post here.

Just a quick note to let you know I will not be able to attend the SF event, so I will stay local.

Please post if you have any other location in mind. Looks like Saturday may be a sunny day.

Mom and I won't be able to join you this time Gus--but it was fun last time at the Luther Burbank Gardens. We're going to try to make it to the SF one in Chinatown. Have fun sketching ;)

Hi missamelia and Mom.

Thank you for your post, happy sketching to you gals too.

Looks like we will try the old railroad square, nice coffee shop and Chevy's. Small area but there are some older building and some antique stores.

I think it would be nice to go here one of these Saturday's and sketch some airplanes.

If someone cannot make it this Saturday maybe we can plan a mini sketchcrawl in between the official one and tackle this airplane museum.

Meeting time:
11 am at the Depot Park by the Charlie Brown and Snoopy monument.
I will be wearing a baseball cap with a Tux logo (little penguin).

Duration of 2-3hours perhaps.

Some related links.

Here is a walking tour guide with some historical information.

There is a coffee place next to the park, opposite to Chevy's.

For food there is Chevy's and the restaurant at the Hyatt Hotel nearby, or walk under the freeway to the Santa Rosa Mall, plenty of inexpensive places to eat inside there.
