We met at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park yesterday for sketchcrawl. We had a great turnout, around 16 people. In addition to some people finding out about it at MoCCA, my friend Gina cross-posted info about it to her meetup group, so we had a number of new crawlers. It was a beautiful day and we moved over near the bandshell and skateboarders to find some shade.



After lunch at EJ's diner where we swapped sketchbooks, we headed back to the park around 81st St. We found a shady spot under a willow tree near the turtle pond and Belvedere castle.





Looking forward to seeing everyone else's sketches!

Nice work, everyone. One with white opaque wash is intriguing me, what is that paint? Looks nice. Cheers.

Alisa - I'd love to sketch in Central Park some day!! Great people sketches and super job on the building by the fountain. The castle came out really nice...love the bike in front.

Hi all, my name is Mike and have been getting back into the art thing in the past year.
I stumbled upon this site after perusing through the web surf, and thought this is a very
interesting idea! Alissa I would very much look forward to participating in the next crawl,
is there an email that's sent out of when the next date might be?

I'm digging the fountain pic with the dude perplexed by the voyeur sketcher and the skaters
done by Alan, awesome job!
