BRRRRRRRRR! Cloudy & 38 degrees - Wind blowing straight from the North @ 30mph, chill factor in the 20's....Just getting over a bad cold so I'm sketching through every window in my studio with a cuppa coffee at my side!

was thinking of participating but i'm a little intimidated because i don't really use watercolor. i'm not a real artist per se just a guy who really loves to draw and sketch. so can i participate with just pencils and a sketchpad? also, are there any other participants from the philippines? thanks.

Hi Reocruz,

Don't be intimidated, be brave and just go for it.

There are no rules, use whatever you have available, in a past San Francisco, CA Sketchcrawl someone used the back of a cereal box.

Look to see if someone already created a Sketchcrawl topic for the Philippines, if nobody has then come up with a potential plan of where you plan to sketch and create one for that location in your country... sometimes other lurkers may come forth, but even if nobody else but you is there, you took the first step.

Sounds fun -- I'll bite! Will be sketchcrawling in Medan or Lake Toba, in Sumatra, Indonesia. If it were on the 11th rather than the 10th, you'd see Jakarta instead At any rate, I doubt there'll be anyone in this area, so I'll be going solo. I'm new to this wonderful site that makes me feel included. Firstly, I am an original San Franciscian of 4 generations...although I immigrated to Canada to the coldest place on earth.. Manitoba, "I left my heart in SF.." I almost always have my little sketchbook in my purse. Now I find out about this International Sketchcrawl which got me excited. I will not get to Mission St. and 22nd but have so far invited 2 friends to meet at my house on 21st St. in Brandon, Manitoba, to begin sketching at 12 noon. WE have to sketch indoors because of ridiculous temps -30s and -40s. This a great site and I absolutely love and know all the locations of your sketches (sniff) and illustrations full of lovely humor.Many Thanks! Have a great Saturday!
