BEIJING - CHINA [RESULTS]

Post by thek »

Unfortunately I was late and so we couldn't get a group together, and because of that I didn't get to do as many sketches as I'd like. The day had way too many cool down periods between sessions too! Still, we had a really nice walk around Hou Hai lake, and Eunice, my wife even managed to get some sketching done for the second time in her life - I'll scan that pic once I'm back in the UK. These are just phone photos of my lot for today.

Nice drawings from Beijing. I look up to everybody who sketches people passing by on the street.

Thanks for the nice comments all! This is Eunice's sketch, I think she did really well with the colours and feel of the piece. This was done outside starbucks, facing the green waters of the lake. It's also only her second drawing in the past 20 years (apparently).

Excellent sketches by both you and your wife!! You really got a lot of sketching done! I LOVE the one of the chef and the one of the men getting ready to go in the lake! Thanks for sharing these.
