First "results" post, here: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=3592&start=15#p17222
To continue the tradition, here's the results topic. I spent much of my time chatting and trying to think of cool places to go next, but I still got some nice images from the crawl. I enjoyed everyone's attitudes and styles. And I will certainly be bringing paper and pens to next year's Blessing of the Animals, whether in Los Angeles or not.

Re: Los Angeles, USA [RESULTS]
This was my first time crawling with the LA group, and what an amazingly cool bunch of people to sketch with. Monking led a merry band from Union Station through the Blessing of the Animals, Little Tokyo and Chinatown. I had a blast, and look forward to drawing with you all again! Full size images are available http://www.flickr.com/photos/frostfyre/ ... 4346653868.

Re: Los Angeles, USA [RESULTS]
Thanks to everyone for making this a fun event! I enjoyed exploring the city.
More detailed explanation is on my blog at http://shihonakaza.blogspot.com/2009/04 ... geles.html
I'm also glad I got my favorite sketching pens (Uni-ball Signo) since all the ones I had finally ran out of ink. Kinokuniya Bookstore that we stopped by is one of only two stores in Los Angeles that carries these Japanese imports as far as I know. The one with squared-off cap is non-waterproof, and the one with angled cap is extra fine point (0.38mm) and is waterproof - they both have brown-black ink, which is basically a sepia tone:

Re: Los Angeles, USA [RESULTS] - Photo
I coincidentally met a business colleague, Dyana Valentine, at the Blessing of the Animals. She kindly took a photo of us sketch crew. It was a fun day, indeed!
