I'm up for 1) the Mission or 2) Cliff House/Sutro Baths too! I guess the Mission would be my first choice...

The Castro area would be interesting. Perhaps going on from there down to Mission Dolores Park, nice place to finish up and swap sketchbooks, especially for a large group.

Greetings,

I have an update from Enrico... he has been really busy at work so he has not had a chance to post and also he wont be able to attend as he will be out of the country.
He mentioned that last Sketchcrawl he had suggested to keep #2 and #3 locations as choices for the next Sketchcrawl.

#2 choice being Golden Gate and Presidio and #3 SOMA and Museums (MOMA, Cartoon Art Museum, Metreon, Yerba Buena Gardens) to have a hood already predetermined.
viewtopic.php?f=45&t=3557&start=30#p16764

Since there is a new poll underway, I will add the two previous locations as well as the East Bay choices, to give everybody's choice a chance. Those that suggested East Bay please try to narrow down the location for Berkeley and perharps serve as a point of contact.

Hmm rather unfortunately the results were reset
I recall the Presidio had five votes, and the Castro location had four votes I believe and Golden Gate 1 (if i recall correctly)
If you can please vote again (I also have set the votes to two locations - as Enrico had it last time - for your first and second choice).

Thank you

Thanks Gus for helping out!!
Indeed life's been a little hectic ... I am out of the country at the moment, back in Italy visiting my family ...
I'll be drawing from here! and look forward to join the SF crew for the next crawl in September!

As far as organization goes, seems like the Presidio it is right?
I think that was what had won the 2nd spot in the last crawl poll ... so it makes sense to me.

You guys have a great time, look forward to see the results!

Usually we meet up at around 11am. If we're all traveling in separate smaller groups, (from my memory) we usually will make an estimated meeting time and place for the end of the day, usually around 5. If we're following a specific path, sometimes we'll make a mid-day meeting time to check up on everyone and see where we want to go next.
On Google maps I found a Starbucks coffee shop near the Lincoln Digital Arts center (Starbucks: 1 Letterman Dr # C, San Francisco, CA‎ - (415) 441-1740‎). I'm not sure how far that will be from our meeting place at the beginning of the day, but if it's not too far it could be an option for a meeting place for the end of the day. Speaking of meeting places, where should we meet up? :)
Can't wait!
Amelia

CONCERNING A POSSIBLE CARPOOL FROM MARIN / NORTHBAY

Hello everyone

My name is Ryan and I am a newbie crawler... This is my first sketch crawl and I am really excited. Gerald invited me and I cant wait. The only issue is I don't have a car and was hoping to get a carpool together from Marin or the northbay. I live just off the 101 in downtown San Rafael.

I'd be more than willing to pay for gas and toll if anyone is willing to give me a ride. Please give me a call or reply to this post if you're interested in a carpool.

The Presidio is nice - not sure I can make it there. If anyone wants to get together in Berkeley or Fairfield area (includes the Delta) let me know!

Did I miss the particulars of where and what time? If someone could post the meeting time, place, etc. That would be great!
Thanks!

Janine

If anyone here is familiar with the Presidio, maybe they could give a few ideas for where to start. There's free parking at Crissy field, so that's where I'll probably park, if we can find a space. :)

Hi all,
I believe it was proposed to meet:
* about 11AM
* at #1 Letterman Drive, Starbucks

But if parking is expected to be an issue, might I suggest the old "Officer's Club", now
NPS Visitors Center at (about):
* 34 Moraga Ave, San Francisco, CA
* map: http://maps.google.com/maps?client=safa ... 19&iwloc=A

Lots of parking in front.

Looking forward to it!

Bruce

Cool! Meeting at the starbucks at 11 am sounds good. I was poking around google maps again just now and found a recommended walk:

http://maps.google.com/maps?client=safa ... 19&iwloc=A

Maybe it could be an option if we don't know where to go once we get there.

Hi,

I didn't know this but there is a "free" shuttle that goes thru the whole park too, its called the PresidiGo Shuttle, and you can even track it online at http://presidiobus.com/ in realtime(or text “prsdo” to (213) 400-3484 for arrival predictions) - got to love technology.

More info here: http://www.presidio.gov/directions/presidigo.htm

The schedule / map can be found here: PDF file http://www.presidio.gov/NR/rdonlyres/DE ... huttle.pdf
