I'd like to. I just moved to NoVa and this would be a nice way to see what's around.

I did a poor job planning a route last time... so any input for parts of DC to explore are very welcome.

I'm guessing it might not be the most pleasant weather for this Sketchcrawl. So we might want to consider some indoor spaces to crawl.

Metro-hopping?
Museums?
actual pub-crawling?
etc...

That being said, I'm happy to stay outdoors too.

Georgetown?
U Street?
The Zoo?

I don't want to miss this one. My day will start in Alexandria, VA and I am planning in making some sketches in Old Town, then take a subway ride to D.C.

It's going to be on November 21st for sure. We just need to decide on a part of the city to meet up and sketch at.

Sorry to miss this one, Christian - I'll be out of town.

I hope it's a great day - and I'll catch the next one!

The more I think about it, I think a stroll through Georgetown, Adams Morgan or U Street sounds good to me.

Thoughts?

ohno... Reagan has a photo assignment that morning, I don't know what our prospects of making it into the city will be. :(

I'll keep an eye on the thread and maybe we'll be able to run into sketchers later in the day.

I think the Shaw neighborhood is really glorious, architecture wise. Perhaps start at Metro Center or Gallery Place metro (inside) then uh...somewhere close (outside) then maybe inside at SAAM/Portrait Gallery (inside) and then move up to 9th & L for some spectacular roofs/architecture and then pop into some place like Longview Gallery (inside) so we alternate inside/outside should the weather be cruddy?
