Hello,
Just found the link on Urban Sketchers, is the SketchCrawl open to anyone? I'm not sure exactly what it entails, but sketching while walking around London sounds appealing.
Cheers

yes, everybody is more than welcome! Professionals, amateurs, children and adults! We just meet up and sketch around the city :D Closer to the date we'll make a map, I'm sure, and i'll do some research tomorrow as well. It would be nice if people listed a few places where you'd like to go. Trafalgar square sounds good to me, also camden town and the south bank.

It's like Thek said, we (well, me in particular) tend not to get it together until the last minute.

I will be there as usual, though. 11AM outside the National Gallery.

Hi all, I'd like to join in as well!
I'll try to be there at 11am.
The map looks like it is for an italian city, though(?)
I hope to find you there, but if I don't, how could I contact somone?
Best wishes, Ulrike

They are forcasting rain for tomorrow (typical!). The National Gallery is a big place with many entrances... Perhaps we could meet at 11am, inside the Sainsburys Wing entrance?

see you there, sketchbooks at the ready!

They're actually forecasting HEAVY RAIN (and wind!) tomorrow - see BBC weather forecast for London http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/ ... &region=uk

An indoor venue like the National Gallery sounds like a really good idea. Sketching stools are available from the reception area in the Sainsbury Wing

How about maybe identifying some 'pit stop' times and places within the gallery for those joining later?

Hello all! How was it? I did do a crawl, but in Southampton in the end. The people who I arranged to go with were keen on there, so for this one we stayed in out home city. I'll start a thread when I've got some images of what we did on my computer.

How was London? Who went in the end? The weather was AWFUL here too, although we spent most of our time inside coffee shops looking out of windows. There was an opening ceremony of a German market with the town cryer for added spice!

Hope you all had a good time.

I was gutted about today, because I was scheduled to be working again, and the Paradise is only down the road from me and I had no idea that sketch event was going on!

In the end I finished up work early and went out to do some sketching on my own, will post results and wee story about it later :)
