I waited at Penry Park in Petaluma for other sketchers and when there were no shows, I painted a quick scene from the park they went to the turning basin and sketched the boat until I got too cold. After that I headed for a hot coffee and a place to warm my body.

Sunday I went in again to try and meet some regular sketchers but got to the meeting spot too late. It was raining so I wandered about and looked at the coffee shops until I found them. I met a nice group and had about 20 minutes to sketch before they were headed to the galleries.

Two nice days.

I love that color sketch. Greetings from the Sonoma-Mendocino coastal area (Gualala, Point Arena, Manchester); I was the only one who posted for our group this year, but we all usually just sketch individually, anyhow. Great fun, nontheless.
