Sao Paulo, Brazil [RESULTS]

Post by weno »

Hi people!
We met at a beautiful park, downtown São Paulo.

Arrived late and left soon, because of other works :)
Here's my contribution:

I like your style of the color behind and the ink sketch on top. Nice work!

Posting for the first time here (I was too intimidated to be the next one following Bajzek  ). Anyway, it was a really great Sketchcrawl with great artists all around the place.

Didn't had the time to properly scan all my sketches, so, I'm only going to post this one for now.

Ok, the rest of my sketches (where the HELL is everybody else from São Paulo? We had at least 40 people that day).

Image
This guy spent almost ten minutes smoking his cigarette looking totally wasted from drinking cachaça the previous night (or maybe he was just contemplating his life...). The bright red "please, look at me" shirt was a bonus. Screwed up royally on the front bench (it was supposed to be the same size of the other one...).

Image
My good friend Sattu brought his wife and his two lovely kids to play while sketching. I did this sketch quickly on a rare "standing still" moment from the eldest kid.

Image
This three guys were talking bullshit and sometimes arguing loudly about... well... something. The center one was holding his knee and looking very relaxed on a silent moment... just not a very LONG moment, since he moved as soon I started to sketch  . And then I just proceeded to wreck the entire sketch with wrong proportions :problem: .

Image
After I left the Parque da Luz I went to a mall to wait for my fiancée, and sketched that fat lady while I was sipping a good cup of coffee... After all, badly dressed people are great sketch subjects  .
